Winter

Berwang, the highest village in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, is situated on a sunny plateau with full panoramic views of the Zugspitze. What’s more, the Lechtal Alps are close enough to touch. A fresh, healthy mountain climate, an exceptionally rich alpine flora for the Western Alps, hundreds of kilometers of hiking and mountain bike routes, slopes and many other possibilities leave no vacation wish unfulfilled in the Berwang Valley.

Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy skiing in Berwang without the usual ski circus: leisurely and challenging pistes lead right into the heart of the village. Winter vacations in Berwang are much more than just whizzing down the slopes, ski touring or your first attempts at carving in the ski school. Here you will find perfectly groomed trails at all alpine altitudes. Lots of sunshine accompanies you on winter hikes, the moon on tobogganing and horse-drawn sleigh rides; it also keeps its fingers crossed for you at the match against the local ice shooters. In idyllic Berwang you can enjoy Tyrolean hospitality with body and soul.

Guaranteed snow due to altitude, family paradise, ski area right on the doorstep, snow-making facilities right down to the valley.

The ski lifts, cross-country ski trails, ice skating rink, toboggan run, walking trails, ski school, guest kindergarten, sports and food stores, après-ski bars and restaurants are just a few steps away.
